One thing you should know about these cameras is that you can fit an adapter
onto which you can put a wide range of filters and extenders (e.g. circular
polarizer, UV filter, wide-angle extender, teleconverter, close-up lens).
They resemble a fixed-lens DSLR in many ways. There's also a firmware hack
you can load which gives you the ability to shoot RAW amongst many other
