The S3 and S5 offer very few improvements over the Canon S2. If the prices
are similar, then the newer models do offer a few more features (e.g., the
hot shoe on the S5). If there is a big difference in price, the S2 will give
virtually identical printed photo quality (vs. the S3 and S5) in most
situations.
