I know you're buying a guide to stability, not a walking stick to lean on,
but I'd certainly suggest making sure anything you buy will stand up to a
fair amount of pressure. That way you're unlikely to get any movement when
you're concentrating on your subject rather than your stance.


I have three high-end mnonopods.

My advice is - use a tripod.
