Car, haven't owed one of those since '86, so I think not. While I do
own a tripod, if I have taken more than a couple hundred photos with
it out of the 40K or so digital photos I've taken to date, that would
a lot. And most of those were not with any of my longer lenses. The
only long shots I can recall using it for where of the moon.

So no low-light photography, no macro is what you're saying?
