Default ? for D. Littleboy

David, if you're out there, I've been lurking, sometimes participating, in
this group for several years, and have found you to be the most
knowledgeable resource regarding things digital.
In fact, I bought my first digital camera (a Sony 7?7) on your advice and it
turned out very well, thank you very much. And I really appreciate the way
you share your knowledge without resorting to insults and copping an
attitude like many folks here do.

Many you can help me here... I read a article today that stated sensors with
photosites down to about 6.8 microns produce the highest quality.... and
sensors with pixels between about 5 microns and 6.8 microns are capable of
excellent image quality, but are pushing the limits....

My question is how these statements apply to the various 6mp sensors used in
the various Nikon dslr's in simple terms ( I can't handle too much math).

Thanks, and I always appreciate your insights.
