days or so) it runs along and calls little attention to itself l (maybe
a charge). I like to think I take a lot of pics, I'm not a pro by any
measure but in a trip of that duration I might take 2 to 3 hundred
pics. Suits me well. I'm keeping my S85 as its existing capabilites
are most useful and on occasion it will still travel with me although
I'm sure it will spend a bit more time in the room. It goes without
saying portability sure has its fine points. One has to ask how much
smaller can these camera's be taken until the exceed the ability of
human ergonomics?

I carry my DSCw1 in my pants pocket all the time.
In addition to the large screen, the screw threads enabling
additional lenses and the tripod screw are real plusses.
