I have been using Canon Elph cameras for years (SD200 and now SD600)
so I am partial towards Canon. I have been very happy with these
cameras except when taking pictures of buildings (such as LV casinos
on the strip). I was about to pull the trigger and order it for a
great deal at $199 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001SER47O?

but decided to post on here first what people thought. Is there a
better camera for for the price or will the SD780 be a good upgrade
from the SD600?

Thanks

TinyURL works well for long addresses. In this case,
http://tinyurl.com/kq35bc will get you there.

What's wrong with taking pictures of buildings in LV?

The Amazon reviews are pretty good. Consider your needs, which you
should understand pretty well after years wtih Elphs. Then read the
reviews and come back here and tell us what your conclusions are.

While some folks in this NG are helpful, many just want to start
arguments or insult people. You're better off with Amazon or other web
sources.
