A amateur can be as good as a pro. Amateur simply comes from
amate. That means that s/he is doing whatever for love of doing
it...


Hmm! Interesting definition. If true, anyone who likes what they do for
a living is an amateur.


So if you don't like what you're doing does that make you a professonal or a prostitute .

It is often said that prostitution is the world's oldest profession. I
have also heard that begging is an ancient and honorable profession. I
have seen no definitive authority stating which is older.
