The claim adding an LED will make it weigh more than the registration limit
is nonsense.


Who knows what adding anything to the Mini 2 will do regarding extra weight
when pushing that 249g limit. However, you will still have that small sensor
with marginal lowlight performance.

...but you know what you want to do with your Mini, so go ahead and modify to
your heart's content.
