It is a common feature among the higher end cameras to have a wireless remote.
A lot of times there is a delay, but some of the newer cameras have an option
to eliminate the delay.

Another option on some Nikons, Canons, and Olympuses (probably others too) is
to be able to pictures on control from a computer via the USB cable.
