I have the the A540 and A610. The A710 uses a similar sized (read tiny)
sensor as the A540. I find it to be noisy for my needs so I'm giving it away
as a gift this Xmas. The A610/620, A630/640 is on a whole other level in
image quality.

The A710 has a longer zoom and IS. It is a bit smaller and lighter but more
plasticy. The A630 has a solid look and feel of a quality machine with the
aluminum lens rings and front panel.
