RAW VS JPEG
Raw is not always better than jpeg if you do trial and error tweaking. It is
definitely better than jpeg if you know what you are doing. You are facing a
trade-off between time and image quality....

Un-retouched photos - Galleries
you have control doesn't mean you know how to control. tweaking trials and
errors visually is fun but to do it right need understanding. it is not a
matter of better but appropriately...

You can with a Nikon, not with a Canon ;-))
