How to choose a monitor for photography?
Get one with the most real-estate and highes resolution you can afford, or
want
to afford. Whatever you do, get a monitor calibration system.

- Use a tripod
- Set camera to take picture format (as opposed to landscape)
- Expose the first frame with "manual"...

I just got thsi today for my K10D and RTFMed for about an hour.
I set it to Digital, Auto Zoom, and Master. I set my camera to Manual.

Bower flashes
I'm a firm believer in "You get what you pay for".
However, I was just wondering about the quality of Bower flashes
(for Pentax in my case). Are then functionality-wise "on par" with
