Gray Market Cameras And US Law
Great legal decision ..... but in the 'real' world the outcome may not

Any chance you can check the City of New York web-site?
A business needs a city license to sell wholesale. Too many complaints

Ni-MH AA's in Nikon F5?
Probably not.
The NiMH cells are usually a bit less than 1.5 volts: the F5 will work
with NiMH cells, but
once the voltage drops __ the camera's battery indicator will tank. My
guess, maybe five...
