need to buy wide angle lens for canon 5d2

as my canon 17-40 was 'borrowed' from my suitcase i need to replace it
...
i usually use it only for buildings, both inside and out (ceilings
too)

am considering another 17-40, a 16-35 and a canon...

background color for skin photos

its interesting to read all of your comments:

i am a dermatologist and of course i and my colleagues take 1000's
(actually tens of thousands) of dermatology photos ... and most of us
were taught to...

background color for skin photos

i was always taught to use blue as a background when taking pix of
skin; is there a reason for this? i would think that neutral grey
would be more appropriate ..

canon 50 megapixel sensor

i just read that canon has a full (35mm) 50 megapixel sensor - should
be interesting to see when they use it in their digital cameras -
right now its being used in "technical equipment"

cs3 and epson printer

when i try and print with an epson 3800 in cs3, using "let photoshop
control the printing" the prints are too dark and i have to use the
epson generic driver, no icc's ...anyone else having this...

epson 3800 panorama limitation

the epson 3800 printer looked like a "must buy" until i discovered it
will only print a max of 37" for a panorama ...i'm sure its a
"firmware" limitation but annoys me ... perhaps if enough...

i'm thinking about the panasonic dmc-tz1 as a backup-handy telephoto
camera to throw in my bag; my main camera is a canon 5d ... anyone use

stitching software for digital phots

i did 4 shots of the aga sophia, intervening city and the blue mosque
in turkey, hand held with a canon 28-105 set at 105, without a tripod,
but manually setting the focus and speed/f stop and tried...
