feedback needed regarding 3-4MP

I want to buy a 3-4 MP basic digital with the following specs:

ability to upload one picture at a time to my pc if need be via usb
simple/win os compatible software (I owned a Sony vid cam that had
horrible software!)
inexpensive

I will using the camera for basic family and fun pics, but in addition
I would like to use it for web design as well.

I'm planning on taking advantage of the after turkey day sales and
have found the following cameras at prices that are in my range:

Kodak 4mp CX6445
Kodak 4mp CX7300
Samsung 4mp Digimax 4010
Concord 4mp 4360z
DXG-308 3MP

I know Mega Pix are relevant when looking at digitals, but what other
things should I factor in to my decision? Any feedback and/or
suggestions would be appreciated.

I may buy the DXG-308.

I was looking at these too. Target has the Samsung for $97 which on
the surface seems like a deal. However I found a product description
that says "effective 4mp," which means that is a 2mp masquerading as a
4mp through interpolation. I haven't done any research on the concord
or DXG, but I can just about promise that it is gonna be the same
thing. Any "off brand" will do this to try and be competitive with the
namebrands, but if they are cutting corners here they will in other
places also.

So I would say if it is a brand you do not recognize, cut the mp range
in half to get the actual rating, and keep in mind you get what you
pay for.

That leaves the Kodaks, which I'm willing to bet cost a bit more
($60-$80??) Where did you see them on sale and for how much??

Go to the store and try them all out to see how intuitive the menu functions are.
