Are there any net resources about these and other recent Contax cameras?
Couldn't find a FAQ. Mailing lists? Interested in learning more about
cameras no longer in production (as I've tried to glean off this
thread): ie, a way to get into Contax/Zeiss on a grad student budget.

TIA,

Try Youtube. Most of the Contaxs are featured there. Will give you an overview. A fairly cheap but quality alternative is the 139Quartz...great camera, almost fully manual if you want it to be, and very reliable without the built-in power wind. I have it and the RX, and I find myself taking out the 139 more frequently...light, smaller and simple. Good luck. You can do it on a grad student budget with a part time job. Hah. BEst.

Ha! You replied to a literally 22-year-old thread.
