FA: Edward Weston's favorite developer, Amidol is USUALLY expensive -- not here!

Selling more supplies and equipment from the estate of a young
photographer.

This is a partial bottle of Photographer's Formulary Amidol Developer,
a usually very expensive chemical for B/W film and prints. When full,
this 1/2 lb bottle cost over $100. Now it's over 1/3 full, and I'm
starting at $9.99. Do the math.

Why was Amidol beloved of Edward Weston, and many contemporary
printers who use Azo paper? Because:

Prints developed in amidol have very good tone separation.
It produces rich, neutral bluish-black tones on papers which look
greenish with standard developers like Dektol.
The image develops quickly, but you can keep developing for a long
period for better density.
It's about the only low-ph developer in existance
If you need to dilute it to lower contrast, the print will not turn
brown as with other developers.
