Safer bet than Samyang, there my experience is 50:50, but I'm in no hurry since I'm kinda good between the 17-40-4.0 L and the 8mm Peleng fisheye. The latter defish nicely. I'd await the tests though but Sigma is much better now and with the firmware update dock you can fix the that yourself if necessary. Have a looksi. Sells in the five-figures now. If Sigma succeeded then good for them. Will be interesting to see how it compares to Nikon's old stalwart 14-24mm and Canon's equivalent. For those of us in the Fujifilm World we will have the soon to be released Fujinon XF 8-16mm f/2.8 R LM WR. (12-24mm 35mm equivalent). However, it will be priced at $1000-$1200. The still very nice XF 10-24mm f/4.0 R OIS is an alternative, though not as fast, but more affordable. -- Regards, Savageduck |

I will just summarize: They were insisting that one of their lenses did not fit, because the mount on my Nikon was not the right size, even though my Nikon lenses all fit. -- PeterN |
