OK Bob... Good readers digest version - I get the flavor...
You are in a tough, and diminishing market, and you have an unmemorable
named product... One that I never heard of before in spite of going way
back in the stained finger brigade... And one that I do not remember
noticing on any of your websites, Jobo, et. al. In spite of the fact that I
am looking for easier ways to produce negatives/prints and possibly your
CombiPlan might be of interest to me... If it has not penetrated my
consciousness, dense though it may be, how many other potential customers
have not noticed it?

Anyway, getting some related word links in the search engines will produce
more hits... So, where do I find pictures of this here product?

Seriously? Usually things go something like this:

Somebody askes about 4x5 processing. Claiming they don't like trays.

The HP tank gets mentioned

The Jobo tanks get mentioned.

Some old guy from the 1880's calls everybody a wimp for not using trays-)

The other daylight tanks get mentioned.

People spend a few days pointing out all the flaws in the other guys setup.

Everybody decides to use what they've been using and personally like.

I don't know if you'll find 100 threads in the archives on the HP tank but
you'll find enough.

The picture doesn't do it justice, so I'll add a little info. What you see
there is the film holder (6 sheets) and the tank. There are 'clips' that
slip/notch over the film's edges to keep it in place with no pressure.
Very nice little idea that is bullet proof. Included is a loading guide
that makes slipping the film into the rack easier for some of us. And the
top is pliable rubber or compound that pulls on easiy, and two taps for
filling and draining/washing. I use long development times but it fills
and empties plenty fast.

A good, reliable little unit when you really have to daylight develop
sheet film. HP doesn't put its name on junk.

(Oh, it will do 4x5 and smaller!)

Your points are all valid, IF I were grimly doing searches for a daylight
processing 4X5 tank, which I have not been actively doing... The CombiPlan
just never happened to penetrate my conciousness, and I suspect that the
'below the radar' product name has a lot to do with that...
Also, I rarely venture into the LF forums.. I do process 4X5, in stainless
hangers, in black, bakelite, tanks with ridges to keep the hangars separated
(gives you an idea of how long I have been doing it)

in the dark with the radio playing softly no wait, that's Hemingway , but
I do work in the dark...

Anyway, goodbye and thanks for all the fish . . . errr info...
