The days before photoshop

Most of us use photoshop to clean up images and make our efforts
presentable. The gray beards here remember the days of dark room majic.

Interesting presentation of old images and creative minds. SI has always
been about composition. One theme for a future SI might be photoshop
image manipulation.

Bret, seen any two headed cranes recently?

Wow look what can be done without photo shop.

Darkroom skills in many of the famous photographers has been
as respected as composition and subject. Most of us have edited
out a wayward wire or two. Bret and Alan Browne have talked
about how they have used photoshop and other packages to
complete their images. Many of Alan's images would have been
impossible without good software to achieve the tremendous depth
of field he wanted.

The images link I posted a few days ago were mostly fun images
requiring a fair amount of skill to accomplish or duplicate.
