And I thought using animals was my original idea. ;-)
But I will bet my "S" entry will probably be a first for the SI.

Not if it's a seagull. I'm not worried. Seagulls are pretty rare along
the New England coast.

It's impossible to take a picture of a seagull. There is no such species.

So it's going to be a salamander?

How about a sneaky snake?

Well, since there is not such thing as seagulls, it's a salamander,
with wings. Either that or an evil spirit.

Better ring the evil spirit alarm.

Well, there's this parking lot in the touristy part of Portland, Maine ...

I figured a snake. But with a salamander you get a two-fer if you also
photograph a map of the original Gerrymander. IIRC, Elbridge Gerry was from
around Bowser's turf, so that may not be so far-fetched! Sorry, Bowser, if
I've spoiled the surprise.

Martha and I are in. (Only one animal, though, and he's a bit different.)

: OK. (No need to flag here, BTW).

Yeah, but it guards against unreliability of email, since you can tell us if
you don't get what we say we sent. Is your email account set to respond to
delivery receipt requests? That would be a more elegant solution.
