I've never been to a baseball game before. Gimme a break, I'm
only 37! Held in Brisbane last night. Must say it was quite
enjoyable. Not a huge crowd, but was a good atmosphere. Think I
counted 3 SLR photogs there. Me with my 30D, a Nikon D200, and a
Pentax. That was it I think.

For an international game you could stand right on the fence,
take photos and I was chatting to some of the players. Fun.

Althought I've watched heaps of sport I've never photographed it
much, let alone night sport, and these were all taken with my
70-200 f/2.8L IS since it's the longest I have.

Great shots, who won?

So which camera does the 70-200 fit?

Nice shots.. Since this was Canada against Australia, the better
question would be "How much beer did they bring?"

:D

Ship beer _to_ Australia? Bit like pouring a teaspoon of water
into the Pacific.

Naaaa......Everybody likes whatever is imported from somewhere else, whether
it's better or not. We send California olives to Italy, where they squeeze
it into olive oil, and ship it back as "Imported Italian Olive Oil" - And,
it sells like hotcakes for twice the price of the domestic stuff. I think
you could make a good living just shipping the same thing back and forth
from one place to another and changing the labels......In fact, I'm sure
some people do just that......How about this: You buy a little island in the
middle of the ocean. There is nothing on the island but shipping docks, and
label factories. You make a living by unloading stuff, changing the labels
on it, and reloading it back on the same ships to return it to wherever it
started out, only now it is, "Imported", and therefore commands twice the
price......You can call your island, "doublemania"....:^)

We got killed. I had to leave in the 8th innings and Canada was
up 11-1. :( There's still 2 games to go.

:) Only beer on sale was VB and XXXX Gold. Neither are my
preferred beers :(

Funny thing - there were these Pepsi promo girls there with a
truck full of Pepsi Max and they couldn't give it away. Kids
were getting the cans and shaking them up to spray each other
with it LOL.
