looking for blank 35mm slides
 
Clear, so they can be written on for projection. I used to be able to
get these back in the late 70's.

Tried Google, but only get references to the sleeves to put them in.

You could buy a cheap or outdated roll of slide film, expose each to
very bright light for a second or so each exposure with the lens wide
open, and have it processed. You'd end up with a roll of mounted
slides, clear film stock only.

How about getting overhead transparency film from the office supply store,
printing with your computer printer and cut the printed areas to fit in a
slide mount. You can get various types of slide mount frames: some are
slip-in types, some are heat seal types that you can seal with a household
iron.
