ALBINOS LOVE THE FABULOUS 5D2!
This is actually a leucistic Ruby-Throated Hummingbird, and not a true

I think Bret is in an area relatively rich in hummingbirds. They're not uncommon here, but not so much that you can lay in wait for a reliable shot. I only see them a few times per summer and its over in seconds. I was in King's canyon and the hummingbirds were a nuisance there were so many (that's where you see how aggressive they can be to one another).
