It was everywhere. In all the major magazines, news sources, etc. At that time people were proclaiming another "Ice Age", maybe you were too young to remember? |

I remember that in 1946-47 I used to ride my bicycle home from school and call into the local library to read the latest issue of 'Science Digest'. Even then it published articles about the possibility of global cooling and the return of the ice age.
